He works at Bogazici University Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute and he is also a PhD candidate at ITU Geomatics Engineering Department. We sill discuss the theme 'Descent to the Underworld' and the mythological stories we will discuss will include: Heracles, Orpheus, Psyche, Theseus, Odysseus, Persephone, Chairon. Please check those figures and their stories before you come to class. We will also watch together Apocalypse Now by Francis Ford Coppola.
